Sabaq Resources is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to join its team in the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah city. This full-time role is integral to managing and optimizing daily transportation operations.

Role Overview

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily transportation activities, ensuring that all trips and deliveries are executed efficiently. This position involves monitoring drivers, vehicles, schedules, safety standards, and service quality to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet movement, drivers, and overall transportation operations.
• Assign trips and duties to drivers based on operational priorities and established schedules.
• Monitor drivers’ adherence to loading procedures, delivery times, and approved routes.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for service, including maintenance, cleanliness, registration, and insurance compliance.
• Coordinate effectively with operations, warehouse, and customer service teams to facilitate smooth transportation activities.
• Promptly resolve operational delays or issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
• Monitor fuel consumption, traffic violations, vehicle breakdowns, and driver behavior.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports detailing transportation performance, trips, incidents, and operating costs.
• Ensure drivers comply with all safety procedures, traffic regulations, and company policies.
• Support initiatives aimed at route optimization to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Follow up on preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance in coordination with the maintenance team or external service providers.
• Train and guide new drivers, continuously monitoring their performance.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, trips, and all related documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in transportation supervision. The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 years of experience in transportation supervision or a directly related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily fleet operations and driver teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in preparing operational reports and maintaining accurate records.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position. The role is based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in either Jeddah or Makkah city, requiring active involvement in daily transportation operations.
