Wedding Sales Executive

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Wedding Sales Executive to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role is focused on maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques while ensuring guest loyalty. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves managing reservations, handling guest requests, and providing administrative support to the Sales & Marketing department.

Key Sales and Loyalty Responsibilities

• Utilize sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue and foster guest loyalty to Marriott.
• Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as tokens of appreciation for their patronage.
• Promote internal and external awareness of the brand image.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points and enter Marriott Rewards information during guest reservations.

Guest Relations and Reservation Management

• Contact appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Administrative Support and Professional Standards

• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
