About the Role

Alesayi Better Life is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Technician to join its Service & Maintenance team. This full-time position is based in Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia, with opportunities in Jeddah and Dammam. The role is suitable for fresh graduates with a technical qualification and involves diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining small home appliances and electrical/electronic components.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Electrical & Electronics Technician will be responsible for executing maintenance and repair activities according to approved technical procedures, safety standards, and product maintenance manuals. This includes identifying faults, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring products meet performance standards before completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in small home appliances and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Inspect, test, dismantle, repair, and reassemble appliances safely and efficiently.
• Repair small home appliances such as microwaves, blenders, electric kettles, vacuum cleaners, irons, coffee machines, and toasters.
• Replace defective components, including motors, switches, thermostats, heating elements, PCBs, and other electrical/electronic parts.
• Perform operational tests post-repair to ensure proper functioning and adherence to performance standards.
• Execute maintenance and repair activities within required turnaround times and according to product specifications and service manuals.
• Request necessary spare parts from the Spare Parts Department for product repairs.
• Record spare parts used and document repair details in the company's system or service documents.
• Communicate with Service Advisors, Supervisors, and Senior Technicians regarding repair status, technical issues, and work-related obstacles.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Supervisor or Senior Technician as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and service area.
• Adhere to all company policies, technical procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• For home-service assignments, collect customer payments when applicable and submit collected amounts to the Service Center within the required timeframe.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Service & Maintenance team, focusing on hands-on repair and maintenance tasks in a workshop setting and occasionally at customer locations for home-service assignments.
