About the Role
eMagine Solutions is conducting an exclusive search for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth for an established FMCG business in Abha and the surrounding region. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of experience to oversee sales performance, distribution, and team execution across various trade channels.
Role Overview and Objectives
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic regional sales plan to achieve tangible results. Key objectives include optimizing the route-to-market, enhancing channel coverage, improving visibility on pricing and competitor activities, and consistently meeting volume, value, and profitability targets. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of FMCG operations from end-to-end, including distributor management, channel strategy, customer relations, promotional execution, trade terms, and operational realities such as logistics and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a field sales team, including Sales Supervisors and Sales Executives.
- Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
- Conduct disciplined daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews.
- Ensure the sales team understands target tracking and incentive calculations.
- Develop and execute a commercially focused regional sales plan.
- Improve route-to-market strategies and enhance channel coverage.
- Increase visibility on pricing and competitor movements within the region.
- Consistently achieve volume, value, and profitability targets.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across Trade Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Sales Excellence, and HR.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Area Sales Manager role or similar, within the FMCG, consumer goods, or food & beverage sectors.
- Demonstrated experience across Modern Trade (MT), Traditional Trade (TT), Food Service (FS), and Wholesale (WH).
- Proven experience in distributor management and route-to-market leadership.
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data-led selling, including forecasting, performance tracking, and analytical approaches.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and a consistent reporting rhythm (weekly/monthly).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Arabic language proficiency is required, with good English communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience within the commodity frozen category is considered a plus.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Abha. The role involves close collaboration with various internal departments to ensure seamless execution and predictable performance.
