About the Role

eMagine Solutions is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for a leading FMCG business to oversee the Southern Region of Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position focused on managing Sales Supervisors, driving performance across a multi-channel distribution network, developing sales plans, executing market strategies, and achieving sustainable growth.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to co-create and execute the regional sales strategy to deliver volume, value, and profitability within the Southern Region. The role involves leading the field sales structure, strengthening distributor execution, and ensuring disciplined reporting, forecasting, and key performance indicator (KPI) management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the Southern Region sales plan, meeting monthly and quarterly targets for volume, value, distribution, and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and manage Sales Supervisors and their teams, setting clear KPIs and establishing regular performance routines.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews to track progress against targets, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a strong execution culture focused on coverage, call discipline, product visibility, and accountability.
  • Manage and optimize the distributor network across the region, ensuring effective coverage, route planning, stock management, and service levels.
  • Ensure strong execution across key sales channels, including traditional trade and wholesale, and modern trade where applicable.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and Sales Excellence teams to resolve operational blockers and enhance service delivery.
  • Drive negotiations with key accounts and distributors to protect margins and increase market share.
  • Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotions, and stock positions, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Review sales reports and utilize data to improve forecast accuracy and minimize lost sales or out-of-stock situations.
  • Maintain a consistent weekly and monthly reporting cadence, including targets, incentives, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Deliver structured forecasting and analysis, including trend tracking and relevant analytical concepts.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of ERP tools and Microsoft Office for reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Manager within the FMCG sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing Sales Supervisors and driving field execution through KPIs.
  • Solid understanding of route-to-market and distributor management within Saudi Arabia; experience in the Southern Region is highly advantageous.
  • Commercial maturity with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including forecasting, performance analysis, market sizing, and understanding of cannibalization concepts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and comfort with ERP systems and structured reporting.
  • Arabic language proficiency with good English communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in Snacking, Beverage, Frozen, or commodity FMCG categories is a plus but not essential.

Work Location and Travel

This role is based in the Southern Region of Saudi Arabia. It requires frequent travel across the region to manage field operations and distributor networks. The coverage area includes cities such as Abha, Khamis Mushayt, Jazan, Najran, Al Baha, Sabya, Samtah, Ahad Rifaydah, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al Janub, Biljurashi, and surrounding towns and route-to-market hubs.
