About the Role

United Group is seeking a dedicated Pellet Mill Operator to join our team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of pellet mill equipment to produce high-quality pellets that consistently meet production and quality standards.

Role Purpose

The Pellet Mill Operator is responsible for the continuous and safe operation of pellet mill machinery. This involves actively monitoring process parameters, conducting routine equipment inspections, and strictly adhering to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures. The primary objective is to maintain optimal production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pellet mill equipment in strict accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Safely and efficiently start up, adjust, and shut down pellet mill systems.
• Monitor critical production parameters, including temperature, pressure, moisture content, and pellet quality.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to optimize pellet production and minimize waste.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure full compliance with established quality specifications.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report any mechanical or operational issues.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to equipment.
• Coordinate effectively with maintenance personnel for equipment repairs and planned maintenance activities.
• Accurately record production data, equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area.
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with inventory monitoring of raw materials and production supplies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and product quality.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in operating industrial machinery, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. A strong understanding of operational safety protocols and a commitment to quality control are essential.
