The Role of Architectural Drafter

International Window Company is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join its team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is central to translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings and providing essential support to the design team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, based on design concepts and project specifications.
• Translate architectural designs into precise technical drawings suitable for construction.
• Update plans promptly to reflect any design changes or revisions.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
• Utilize CAD and other related drafting software proficiently.
• Organize and manage drawing sets for internal review and external approval processes.
• Support the design team in planning and documentation activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the Architectural Drafter role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. While not mandatory, prior experience working within a design and build or construction environment is preferred. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and innovative building technologies will be considered an advantage.
