About the Assistant Boutique Manager Role
Vacheron Constantin is seeking an Assistant Boutique Manager to join their team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves managing boutique operations and team performance to achieve sales and service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily, monthly, and periodic business operations, learning activities, and CRM initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to operational and audit guidelines by the boutique team.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of after-sales service quality.
- Develop and nurture client relationships to meet defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage product rotation, conduct accurate stock takes, and follow up on stock replenishments and after-sales service cases with the Boutique Manager.
- Ensure the maintenance of all boutique timepieces.
- Monitor After Sales Service, assist the team with client communication, and implement proactive solutions.
- Comply with all relevant procedures, legal, fiscal, and customs regulations, and perform cash registry controls.
- Proactively suggest modifications to the commission scheme to enhance retail staff retention.
- Meet and exceed monthly Vacheron Constantin boutique sales targets in line with brand retail strategy.
- Build a resilient strategy in collaboration with the Boutique Manager.
- Ensure an excellent boutique experience and environment, providing high-quality client service from welcoming to servicing.
- Assist the Boutique Manager in implementing visual merchandising concepts and CRM activities.
- Provide optimal service to clients, fostering their interest in Vacheron Constantin products through CRM follow-up and after-sales service.
- Ensure the proactivity of all Sales Associates and monitor staff appearances and behavior in line with company policy.
- Actively assist the Boutique Manager in team development, including on-the-job training for new members and individual coaching.
- Distribute tasks within the retail team for smooth boutique operation and organize schedules to ensure equality of working hours and opportunities.
- Conduct role-plays with the team and provide constructive feedback to track performance.
- Participate in daily and monthly sales reporting and actively contribute to defining action plans.
- Submit monthly action plans to the Boutique Manager, detailing sales, boutique activations, micro-events, and improvement proposals.
- Ensure service excellence within the boutique and team, building relationships with customers and leading by example.
- Focus on existing and new VIP, customer, and prospect database recruitment for sales and marketing activities.
- Handle client complaints with care and track/respond to Medallia reports daily, sharing insights with the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Retail.
- Previous experience in the luxury sector is preferred.
- Strong background in developing and managing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Previous experience and strong involvement in boutique operations.

- Possession of an existing high VIC/VVIC client network in the GCC.
- Excellent knowledge of the luxury retail market, including fashion, watchmaking, and jewelry brands, market trends, and news.
- Exceptional sales skills and expertise in client relationship development.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
Work Environment and Type
This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with specific locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a luxury retail boutique environment.
