About the Role

Saudia Cargo is seeking an Assistant Officer Recovery & Post-Flight Support to join their team in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time role involves coordinating cargo recovery operations and ensuring effective resolution and communication with customers and stakeholders. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Officer Recovery & Post-Flight Support is responsible for determining requirements and fulfilling requests for post-flight support. This includes ensuring exceptional customer service in compliance with company policies and procedures, while also managing the coordination of cargo recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research using primary data sources to select relevant information for analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating, and providing information.
  • Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customers, stations, and internal and external stakeholders to finalize out-of-kingdom and in-kingdom requests.
  • Collect feedback from customers on recovery operations and support services.
  • Provide customers with timely updates on recovery status.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing recovery actions taken, challenges faced, and resolutions.
  • Gather data on cargo condition and recovery outcomes for future improvement.
  • Coordinate securing facilities for storing recovered cargo until it can be assessed or delivered.
  • Maintain and update the call center database by entering required services to track the quality of inquiries' outcomes and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure fulfillment of requests by clarifying desired information, completing transactions, and forwarding requests.
  • Coordinate with the finance department in the event of customer reimbursement.
  • Track shipment status by following up and coordinating directly with involved stations (in-kingdom and out-of-kingdom) for collecting and analyzing information related to lost/damaged cargo.

This position is based in Makkah, with work opportunities in Jeddah.
