Civil Engineer

About the Role

Artas Real Estate is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role focuses on managing and delivering real estate projects, leading engineering work, and overseeing projects from the planning stage through to handover. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in real estate project management and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise project execution and monitor construction works on site.
• Manage and follow up with contractors and consultants to ensure work adheres to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project quality and progress in line with the approved schedule.
• Prepare technical and periodic reports for management.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and review shop drawings.
• Review project costs and budgets, ensuring projects remain within the approved budget.
• Follow up on contractor payments, work progress, and project costs during execution.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate with site teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and executing real estate projects.
• Previous experience with contractors or real estate developers.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of structural works, finishing works, and project management principles.
• Ability to read and prepare shop drawings.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and cost studies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D software, and other related programs.
• Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.

Work Location

This position is based in Jeddah, with responsibilities extending to projects in Makkah. Candidates must be based in Jeddah.
