Job Description
About the Role
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Clerk Accounts Payable to join its team. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and proper processing of financial information, entries, and documents, maintaining meticulous records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Check figures, entries, and documents to ensure correct information input, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to established policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial information to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
- Audit cash registers periodically according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cash boxes, and contracts.
- Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon any cash discrepancies according to SOP.
- Act as a liaison between the hotel and armored car service or the primary banking institution.
- Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes to ensure compliance with SOP.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None.

Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.

This full-time position is located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
