Cost Control Manager

About the Role

Unity Holding Company is seeking a Cost Control Manager to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to manage and monitor cost-related activities within the organization, particularly within the FMCG and F&B sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expense reports.
• Maintain an up-to-date list of all costs and prices, ensuring accurate measures and advising on variations.
• Monitor market trends that could impact resource costs and stay informed on new vendors and potential cost-cutting partnerships.
• Manage supplier relationships and approve purchases in coordination with the Purchasing Department.
• Conduct periodical checks on the value of restaurant food compared to posted food totals by cashiers.
• Perform periodic physical counts for affiliate and distributor stock.
• Conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities.
• Coordinate with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
• Maintain cost efficiency and monitor departmental spending within approved budgets.
• Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost.
• Act as a liaison between auditors and Supply Chain during the annual audit, providing necessary information.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cost control within the FMCG industry.
• Experience in a multi-branch F&B brand is required.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and Menu Engineering.
