About the Role

Responsibilities

• Installation Supervision: Organize and supervise onsite electrical activities such as Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of electrical components for Vanderlande material handling projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
• Controls Activities: Install PLC/HMIs, execute support commissioning activities, and perform controls troubleshooting.
• Guidance: Provide clear directives to the installation team, ensuring that work adheres to quality standards.
• Safety Focus: Foster a culture of safety and organize HSE activities on-site.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular site walks and quality checks.
• Reporting & Coordination: Monitor team progress and report regularly to the site manager, ensuring effective coordination with all stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve site management processes and contribute to team skills enhancement.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 5 years in executing material handling projects in controls commissioning or electrical site supervision.
• Knowledge of electromechanical components and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings.
• Experience with PLC systems, hardware modifications, and understanding communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, preferably electrical or electronic engineering.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical works at the project site, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams
• Monitor subcontractors and workforce productivity
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain daily reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of site experience (preferably in KSA)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems in construction projects
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Good communication and reporting skills

• Reporting & Coordination: Monitor progress, coordinate with subcontractors, and document all activities.

• Support Activities: Facilitate a smooth high-quality handover to commissioning teams.

Desired Experience
