KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician II to join their team in the Makkah region, specifically in Rabigh or Makkah. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician II will be responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating daily instrument maintenance activities. This role serves as the central point for the daily instrument maintenance execution plan, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures and providing guidance to technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day instrument maintenance activities for all instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Ensure technicians adhere to SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance execution.
• Conduct frequent site visits to monitor work execution and technician activities during routine maintenance.
• Provide leadership to technicians assigned to the area.
• Receive and translate work directions from the Instrument foreman into actionable maintenance plans.
• Monitor instrument maintenance progress, submit regular reports with recommendations to the Instrument foreman, and maintain records of daily maintenance against planned programs.
• Collaborate with the Instrument foreman to recommend and implement changes for improving the availability and reliability of instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment by providing recommendations for improved suitability and serviceability.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures are strictly followed during onsite maintenance.
• Verify that personnel possess the necessary skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools to perform routine maintenance safely and effectively, in accordance with contract terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a High School diploma, or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a Diploma.
• Valid certification from a recognized third-party body or an accredited Saudi institute, confirming qualifications and competency.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Proven leadership skills within large organizations.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and resolve problems effectively.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and reside in Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills

• Proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems, as well as mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Good command of oral and written English.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with potential work locations in Rabigh or Makkah. The role requires working within a multi-cultural environment and maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.
