About the Role

Arabian Metal Industries is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is central to supporting engineering and production activities, focusing on the preparation of technical documentation for truck body manufacturing and project execution. The Engineering Manager will ensure that all technical drawings, Bills of Materials, and material requirements are accurate and suitable for production.

Role Overview

The Engineering Manager will work closely with engineering and production teams to facilitate the manufacturing process through precise technical documentation. This involves preparing detailed technical drawings, managing documentation, and coordinating material requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of engineering specifications and production needs to ensure all outputs meet approved standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings for truck bodies and related applications.
• Support Design Engineers with drafting, drawing revisions, and technical documentation.
• Read and interpret engineering requirements, specifications, and production needs.
• Conduct technical inspections of chassis and vehicles as required.
• Prepare load distribution drawings and associated calculations.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for production.
• Assist in planning and identifying material requirements for assigned projects.
• Maintain and update engineering drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Stores, and other departments regarding drawing and material requirements.
• Prepare technical and operational manuals when necessary.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are prepared accurately and according to approved engineering standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in an engineering or drafting role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of engineering requirements, specifications, and production processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including engineering, production, and stores, within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
