Arctech is seeking an Equipment Technician to join its team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment.

Role Overview

The Equipment Technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial production equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, guide rails, drive systems, and equipment structures.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues, including sensors, limit switches, contactors, frequency inverter alarms, and motor wiring.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records and recommend improvements for recurring equipment failures.
• Perform spare parts replacement and support spare parts inventory monitoring.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and restore production with minimum downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to work independently.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read simple electrical diagrams are preferred.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing tools, such as a multimeter.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle emergency maintenance and breakdowns in a production environment.
• Electrician, welding, or special equipment operation certificates are preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah, requiring on-site presence to manage equipment maintenance and respond to breakdowns effectively.
