About the Role

Modern Mills is seeking a Functional Consultant SD to join their team in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module to align with business requirements across sales order processing, billing, distribution, and customer service. The position requires deep expertise in the SD module and its underlying business processes, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimize the SAP SD module, covering functionalities such as sales orders, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and returns processing.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules, including MM, FI, and PP.
  • Implement system enhancements and modifications to streamline order-to-cash processes in alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to design SAP SD solutions that improve order fulfillment, delivery, and billing processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digitalization within sales and distribution workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Provide functional support for SAP SD, addressing day-to-day user issues, troubleshooting problems, and minimizing operational disruption.
  • Manage incident resolution and coordinate with the IT support team for technical issues related to the SD module.
  • Develop and deliver user training for sales and distribution teams to ensure effective use of SAP SD functionalities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all configuration changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions within the SAP SD module.

Compliance and Project Management

  • Ensure SAP SD configurations comply with local sales regulations in KSA, including VAT, export/import regulations, and customer billing requirements.
  • Work with finance and audit teams to ensure SD processes adhere to internal controls, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Participate in SAP SD implementation projects, version upgrades, and rollouts, ensuring successful delivery within project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionalities, configurations, and module upgrades.
  • Contribute to the development of IT policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent application and ease of operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

The Functional Consultant SD will collaborate with other SAP module consultants (FI, MM, WM, PP) to ensure seamless integration of SD processes with other business functions. This role also involves coordination with the Senior Manager, ERP and various business stakeholders to ensure the SD module supports overall business objectives, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP SD module configuration and support.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise in the SAP SD module and its underlying business processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices.
  • Experience in system enhancements, issue resolution, and ensuring compliance with sales regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah or Makkah, within the Makkah Region. The role involves working within a dynamic team environment, collaborating with various departments to support and enhance Modern Mills' SAP landscape.
