About the Hairdresser Role

SO Original Art and Beauty Jeddah is seeking a dedicated and skilled Hairdresser to join our full-time team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role represents the Salon’s style, mission, and philosophy, requiring a professional who actively seeks new trends, products, and services to enhance our offerings. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong passion for fashion, music, art, new products, and hair, while committing to achieving weekly and monthly revenue targets set by management.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this position is to perform professional hair services that effectively satisfy Salon guests. The Hairdresser will also play a key role in demonstrating a willingness to train new salon assistants, contributing to their skill development and overall team proficiency. This involves maintaining high standards of service delivery and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and conduct consultations in line with Salon guidelines to understand their requirements.
• Educate clients on pricing details for all hair services during consultations.
• Execute all cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services to high standards, providing clients with necessary product information.
• Recommend appropriate homecare products to clients during each service session.
• Maintain detailed client service history, recording products used during each visit (*, hair color, treatment details).
• Learn and perfect new styles and techniques.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and researching trends.
• Attend external events to promote the brand.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly service and product revenue targets.
• Take responsibility for building a regular clientele.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels and the product ordering process for the hair section.
• Ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to sterilization and sanitation standards mandated by the Salon and Municipality.
• Ensure working areas are kept clean and all equipment and products are used with care.
• Farewell clients, guiding them to their next area.
• Reference and abide by the Salon’s Standard Operating Procedures, Policies & Forms Manuals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Three (3) years of salon stylist experience in an international standard salon.
• Training Certification with Loreal or Kerastase is an advantage.
• Must be an expert in Ombre and Balayage techniques.
• Well-experienced in hair coloring, highlights, hairstyling, hair treatments (Keratin and Collagen), and haircut.
• Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques.
• Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, such as keratin smoothing.

Work Schedule

This full-time position requires willingness to work shift hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the operational needs of the Salon.
