About the Role

RiDiK is seeking a highly experienced Head of Artificial Intelligence to lead its AI initiatives. This full-time position is based in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

Professional Experience Requirements

• Over 15 years in IT services or banking technology, with a minimum of 5 years in AI/ML delivery or AI product leadership.
• A proven track record of delivering production-grade AI solutions within large enterprise banking environments, extending beyond advisory or Proof of Concept (POC) work.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Model (LLM) deployments, including open-source models (QWEN, LLaMA, Mistral), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and fine-tuning.
• Experience operating within GCC or ME banking institutions, with a preference for familiarity with Saudi/UAE tier-1 banks.
• A background in at least two of the following areas: AI-augmented testing, intelligent Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI for banking operations, or conversational AI in financial services.

Technical and AI Expertise

• LLM & AI Platforms: Proficiency with open-source LLMs (QWEN, LLaMA 3, Mistral) and cloud LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude). Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and RAG architecture is essential.
• GPU Infrastructure: Understanding of VRAM sizing, quantization techniques (GGUF, GPTQ), inference optimization (vLLM, Ollama), and on-premise LLM serving.
• Cloud & Hybrid AI: Ability to design hybrid AI architectures that balance data sovereignty with cloud scalability. Experience with MLOps on platforms like Azure AI Studio, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
• Banking AI Applications: Familiarity with AI applications in KYC/AML, credit risk, fraud detection, regulatory reporting automation, AI-augmented testing, and intelligent document processing.
• Agentic AI: Experience with multi-agent AI frameworks, agentic workflow design, and enterprise AI platform evaluation.

Leadership and Commercial Acumen

• Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to present AI strategy to C-suite executives and engage effectively with ML engineers and delivery teams.
• Strong commercial understanding, including ROI modelling, AI-enabled service pricing, and productivity KPI tracking.
• Experience managing multi-vendor AI delivery environments and third-party tooling agreements.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic and/or Gulf dialect) is essential for this role.
