About the Role

RAWAJ, a leading company specializing in Hospitality and Hotel Management in Makkah, is seeking a dedicated Hotel Development & Acquisition Manager. This full-time role is central to developing and executing growth strategies, expanding the company’s presence within the hospitality, Hajj, and Umrah sectors in Saudi Arabia, specifically focusing on Makkah and the Holy Sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the hospitality, Hajj, Umrah, and pilgrim-services sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, hotel operators, investors, property owners, and service providers.
• Establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and commercial agreements to support business expansion.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to assess potential opportunities and market trends.
• Prepare business proposals, investment cases, presentations, and commercial recommendations for senior management.
• Lead negotiations and support the preparation, review, and management of contracts and partnership agreements.
• Manage key accounts and foster long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
• Monitor the hospitality market in Makkah and the Holy Sites, including demand patterns, seasonal changes, and Hajj and Umrah operational requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, finance, legal, and marketing to ensure successful implementation of new opportunities.
• Monitor the performance of business development initiatives and provide regular reports on the opportunity pipeline, partnerships, revenue potential, and achieved results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably within hospitality, hotels, Hajj, Umrah, tourism, or pilgrim services.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic business development plans.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi hospitality market, particularly Makkah and the Holy Sites.
• Strong understanding of Hajj and Umrah operational cycles, seasonal demand, and pilgrim-service requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Experience managing key accounts and building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong experience in market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Ability to prepare and present comprehensive business proposals, commercial plans, and investment cases to senior leadership.
