Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role

مجموعة جار البيت لإدارة وتشغيل الفـنادق is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across the hotel's guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect cleaned rooms, report any deficiencies, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate room readiness with the Reception team and maintenance work with the Maintenance team.
• Train staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, professional conduct, and guest privacy.
• Monitor supply consumption, prevent waste, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Handle housekeeping requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain lost-and-found records and adhere to hotel procedures for guests’ belongings.
• Submit daily and weekly reports covering room status, staffing, maintenance issues, and supply needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of previous hotel housekeeping experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have held supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of guest room cleaning, public area maintenance, and hotel hygiene standards.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
• Experience in preparing duty rosters and assigning daily workloads based on occupancy levels.
• Capability to inspect rooms thoroughly to ensure they meet hotel standards before release.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safe handling procedures, and various housekeeping equipment.
• Experience in controlling linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and managing stock levels.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational needs.
