Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Baytonia is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage daily logistics operations. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing product movement between warehouses, showrooms, and customers. The coordinator will ensure efficient and timely transfers, deliveries, and receipts while maintaining product safety and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor product movement and transportation across warehouses, showrooms, and customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, delivery teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Track transportation, receiving, and delivery requests to meet scheduled timelines.
• Address and resolve daily operational challenges promptly.

Shipment and Delivery Management

• Oversee shipments and orders from preparation through to final delivery.
• Coordinate with transportation companies and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow up on delayed or pending orders and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date receiving and delivery records within the system.

Product Movement and Handling

• Ensure products are prepared correctly before transportation or delivery.
• Manage the movement of returned or damaged products to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure proper handling and safety protocols are followed during loading, transportation, and delivery.
• Track transfers between locations and maintain precise movement records.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and pending orders.
• Monitor the performance of transportation companies and logistics providers.
• Identify recurring issues and propose practical improvements.
• Contribute to reducing transportation costs and waste while enhancing order fulfillment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the operational aspects of logistics within Baytonia's network.
