We are seeking a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Makkah, Makkah Province.

Role Purpose

The Merchant Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the preparation and launch of new merchant online stores. This involves ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are configured effectively. The specialist will set up store configurations, customize storefronts, upload products, and configure payment and shipping methods. The primary objective is to ensure each store is fully ready for launch, thereby delivering a seamless onboarding experience that enables merchants to begin selling confidently on Salla.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize online store templates and interfaces to align with specific brand identities.
• Accurately list and categorize products on the platform, including adding images, descriptions, and pricing.
• Configure and update shipping and payment details based on the store’s operational needs.
• Ensure seamless integration of various payment gateways with the online store.
• Set up both local and international shipping options and regularly test the purchasing process for proper functionality.
• Conduct A/B testing for user interfaces and implement improvements to optimize page loading speed.
• Provide solutions to user experience issues to ensure merchant and customer satisfaction.

Technical Support and Collaboration

This role involves providing continuous technical support to resolve any issues related to the online store. The specialist will coordinate with specialized teams to meet merchant needs and work closely with technical support and development teams to resolve store-related technical issues. Additionally, the role requires staying current with the latest e-commerce technologies and site optimization tools, suggesting innovative solutions to improve online store performance, and delivering comprehensive training to merchants on effective platform usage.
