About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Mgr Sales to join our team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time position is primarily accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, ensuring business is properly and timely turned over for service delivery. The role assists in leading day-to-day sales activities with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Building Customer Relationships

A core aspect of this role involves developing and strengthening relationships to generate sales opportunities. Key activities include:

• Collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
• Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows to enable future bookings.
• Developing relationships within the community to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
• Managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.

Sales Management and Market Strategy

The Mgr Sales will manage various sales activities and utilize market insights to maximize revenue. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals.
• Executing and supporting the operational aspects of booked business, such as generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.
• Identifying new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
• Understanding the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to effectively position sales efforts.
• Closing the best opportunities for the location based on prevailing market conditions and specific needs.
• Gaining an understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

This role is integral to upholding the company’s commitment to service excellence and customer loyalty. Key duties include:

• Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Servicing customers to grow their share of the account.
• Executing and supporting the company’s established customer service standards.
• Providing excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
• Setting a positive example for guest relations.
• Interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Mgr Sales position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time role based in Makkah and Jeddah.
