MMMP OCC Manager

About the Role

Saudi Railway Company is seeking an MMMP OCC Manager to oversee operations in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and focuses on managing service performance, developing operational strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures within the Operations Control Center (OCC).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the service performance of OCC contractors in accordance with operational, emergency, and incident response plans and procedures.
• Articulate, develop, and update the MMMP OCC strategy, ensuring compliance with SAR’s overall strategy.
• Develop technical support business plans, KPIs, and milestones to align with the HHR & Al Mashaaer business plan.
• Investigate and report operational incidents and accidents to support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate the recruitment and training processes for OCC controllers.
• Ensure that all OCC staff adhere to operations and safety procedures, policies, and rules.
• Coordinate with the competency and compliance team to identify training needs for in-house OCC control operations, facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Act as a liaison with emergency services and OCC contractors, ensuring their full awareness of safe railway access procedures.
• Schedule and conduct regular audits and inspections to verify that OCC contractors follow safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in operational management, safety compliance, and strategic planning within a control center environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Saudi Railway Company. The role involves close coordination with various internal teams and external contractors to maintain high operational standards and safety protocols.
