The Role: NDT Tube Inspection Lead
Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced NDT Tube Inspection Lead for a contract position in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing and executing tube inspection activities during refinery, petrochemical, LNG, and industrial shutdown projects. The successful candidate will lead inspection teams, coordinate with clients, ensure compliance with project specifications, and deliver high-quality inspection services safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise tube inspection activities utilizing various NDT techniques.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute inspections of heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, fin-fan coolers, and pressure equipment.
- Perform and oversee IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System), RFET (Remote Field Eddy Current Testing), ECT (Eddy Current Testing), NFT (Near Field Testing), Visual Inspection (VT), Tube Mapping, and Data Analysis.
- Review inspection procedures, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of inspection equipment.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
- Coordinate daily activities with client representatives and site management.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit requirements, and company HSE standards.
- Supervise technicians and provide technical guidance during field operations.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of inspection scopes.
- Participate in project planning, manpower allocation, and shutdown mobilization activities.
- Maintain inspection records and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in NDT tube inspection.
- Previous experience in QatarEnergy LNG, RasGas, QP, refinery, or petrochemical shutdown projects is preferred.
- Valid offshore/onshore safety certifications are preferred.
- Experience managing multicultural teams in high-pressure shutdown environments is preferred.

This is a contract position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
