The Role of Production and Operations Manager

We are seeking a Production and Operations Manager HDPE Fittings to join our team in Makkah, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for transforming production plans into consistent, compliant output, overseeing the entire process from injection moulding through the preparation of fittings for wire laying. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans and monitor output against these plans.
• Organize and follow up on injection moulding machines and moulds, and set operating parameters in coordination with the technical team.
• Follow up on the first-off sample for each production run, verifying the part’s dimensions, weight, and appearance.
• Coordinate the flow of parts between injection moulding, cooling, inspection, and wire laying stages.
• Monitor PE100 resin consumption, scrap, and rework, with a focus on reducing waste and downtime.
• Train operators in safe operation, mould changes, and adherence to work instructions.
• Record production data, downtime, scrap, and the causes of problems, providing clear reports to management.
• Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance departments to identify and address the root causes of defects, rather than solely sorting defective products post-production.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in production and operations, specifically within the manufacturing of HDPE fittings. This role requires a hands-on approach to factory floor operations and problem-solving.

Unsuitable Candidate Profiles

• Candidates whose experience is limited to operating pipe extrusion lines.
• Administrative candidates who are unable to actively follow up on machines, parts, and production issues directly on the factory floor.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
