About the Opportunity

AECOM is seeking a Program Dashboard & Reporting Specialist to join our team in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to overseeing comprehensive project controls functions, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will leverage over 10 years of engineering and project controls expertise to deliver advanced project performance analysis. This position involves working collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to develop strategic dashboards and provide actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated project control systems, processes, and procedures aligned with organizational standards and industry best practices.
• Create and manage executive-level dashboards and comprehensive reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into project performance metrics, including schedule variance, cost variance, and earned value management (EVM) indicators.
• Monitor and analyze project performance data, translating complex metrics into clear visualizations and insights for stakeholder decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for executive leadership and stakeholders, utilizing advanced data visualization techniques.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining robust financial controls and audit trails.
• Conduct detailed schedule analysis, identify critical path activities, and recommend mitigation strategies for schedule risks.
• Perform risk assessment and analysis to support proactive project management and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and operational departments to ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reporting integrity.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project controls staff, fostering team development and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize advanced project management software and business intelligence tools to automate reporting, enhance data accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
• Identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance project controls effectiveness and reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and project controls.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple work streams.
• Prior experience working on projects within the Middle East region.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in mentoring and developing project controls professionals.
