About the Role

PROVEN is seeking a Purchase Specialist to join a client's team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for managing and coordinating international purchasing activities, with a focus on ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of products from overseas suppliers. The role involves comprehensive supplier coordination, purchase order management, quotation evaluation, and order tracking, alongside collaboration with internal teams to fulfill purchasing requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international purchasing and procurement activities.
• Source and coordinate purchases from international suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery terms.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations and support commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with international suppliers regarding quotations, orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on outstanding shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and procurement reports.
• Support the procurement team in maintaining strong supplier relationships and achieving cost-effective purchasing.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Purchase Specialist position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or procurement role.
