DP World is seeking an RTG Controller Operations to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of containers within the yard by remotely controlling Automated Electric RTG (AeRTG) cranes from the RCOS office. Role Overview

The RTG Controller Operations role combines technical monitoring with direct intervention-based crane control. The primary objective is to support overall automation performance, maintain operational safety standards, and enhance yard productivity. This involves a proactive approach to managing automated systems and responding to operational needs in real-time to ensure seamless container movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate AeRTGs remotely from the RCOS to stack, retrieve, and relocate containers within designated yard blocks.
• Monitor multiple automated cranes concurrently, intervening as necessary to correct exceptions or address unsafe conditions.
• Ensure the accuracy of container moves and strict compliance with Terminal Operating System (TOS - ZODIAC) instructions.
• Coordinate effectively with the Yard Supervisor and Planning teams to optimize crane allocation and mitigate yard congestion.
• Escalate automation errors, operational delays, or equipment breakdowns to Maintenance and IT support teams without delay.
• Enforce Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) requirements by monitoring yard activity via camera systems and halting operations in the event of unsafe practices.
• Maintain detailed logs and performance records of RCOS activities for productivity tracking and troubleshooting purposes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in automation efficiency by providing valuable operational feedback.
