About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Registrar in Internal Medicine to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves providing comprehensive medical care, managing chronic conditions, and contributing to population health initiatives. The role emphasizes evidence-based medicine and value-based care principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including patient histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and individual patient needs.
• Manage and follow up on chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory disorders.
• Provide acute care for patients with acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, facilitating appropriate specialist referrals.
• Engage in population health management by identifying community health issues, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education.
• Utilize telemedicine platforms for remote consultations, patient monitoring, and virtual follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other specialists, primary care physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to value-based care principles to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through enhanced coordination and efficient resource utilization.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in internal medicine, including new treatment modalities, medications, guidelines, and value-based care models, integrating them into clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Internal Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Proficiency in managing chronic medical conditions and providing acute care.
• Experience with telemedicine platforms is beneficial.
