Waad Academy Schools, located in Jeddah, Makkah, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Shadow Teacher. This role is within the Special Education Needs Department and focuses on providing support to students requiring additional learning and behavioral assistance.

Role Overview

The Shadow Teacher will work directly with students, classroom teachers, and the Special Education Department. The primary objective is to foster student participation, promote independence, and facilitate integration into the classroom environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic, social, and behavioral objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to students within the classroom to facilitate participation in daily learning activities.
• Assist students in integrating into the classroom environment and encourage positive interactions with peers.
• Implement educational, behavioral, and learning strategies as recommended by the Special Education Department.
• Support students in adhering to classroom routines, instructions, and activities while promoting independence.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure consistent support aligned with each student's individual needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Experience required: 0-1 years.
• Demonstrated patience and adaptability.
• Passion for supporting students with additional learning and behavioral needs.

Employment Details

This is a Part-Time position based at Waad Academy Schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
