About the Role
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Human Resources to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position involves supporting human resources operations and employee relations within the hotel environment. The role requires 0-1 years of experience, focusing on compliance, employee support, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, including resolution and follow-up.
- Support management and the leadership team in handling and resolving Human Resources issues.
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards.
- Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations.
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Disseminate information to employees related to employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies and programs.
- Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, such as interview documents and I-9's.
- Assist in the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Answer phone calls and record messages.
Support and Operational Duties
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Makkah, within the hospitality sector at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts. The role involves working closely with management and employees to foster a positive and compliant work environment.
