About Dexcom and the Role
Dexcom, a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), is seeking a Territory Sales Manager. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia, covering the cities of Jeddah, Makkah, and Taif. Dexcom is dedicated to improving human health by developing biosensing technology that provides personalized, actionable insights, initially focused on diabetes management and now expanding its vision.
Role Overview
The Territory Sales Manager represents Dexcom by engaging with physicians, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other institutions primarily focused on diabetes care. This role involves providing technical expertise on Dexcom’s products to customers, supporting both the continued and expanded use of these solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working within both the public and private sectors in the specified geographic area.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Dexcom products within an assigned geographic area or specific accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Achieve individual sales targets by developing new customers and expanding existing accounts.
- Build, develop, and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, key opinion leaders, diabetes nurse educators, and purchasers.
- Develop and implement market development plans and strategies, establish education on company products and services, and support business activities.
- Arrange product demonstrations, plan and execute sales activities, and provide ongoing sales support, including sales calls, data analysis, and identifying customer opportunities.
- Actively identify initiatives and execution tools to ensure and maximize product penetration growth.
- Provide feedback on marketing intelligence to sales and marketing management business units.
- Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 to 8 years of sales experience within the healthcare sector.
- At least 3 years of experience in diabetes or an equivalent field, with a proven track record of achieving targets and delivering success.
- Demonstrated success within the healthcare environment.
- Sound experience in data analysis.
- Understanding of CRM systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic.
Travel Requirements
This role requires significant travel, estimated between 50% to 75%, to cover the assigned territory and engage with customers.
