Night Auditor Position at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team in Medina, Almadinah Almunawwarah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the hotel during night hours. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial figures, managing computerized financial information, and securing the hotel's cash assets.

Core Responsibilities and Financial Oversight

The primary focus of this role is to control and verify financial data, ensuring all reports and documents are precise. This involves meticulous handling of financial records and adherence to strict security protocols for monetary assets. The Night Auditor plays a critical part in the daily financial closing process and reporting.

  • Control the accuracy of figures, reports, and financial documents.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Control and ensure the security of the hotel's cash and cash equivalents, complying with money handling policies.
  • Organize, secure, and manage all account books and records in line with document retention and confidentiality policies.
  • Prepare, update, and disseminate statistical, financial, accounting, audit, or payroll tables and reports.
  • Control and reconcile revenue reports.

Operational Compliance and Guest Experience

Beyond financial duties, the Night Auditor is expected to uphold company standards across various operational areas, including safety, security, and guest service. This role requires a commitment to fostering positive team relationships and maintaining a professional demeanor.

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and dangerous working conditions.
  • Comply with all chain policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean uniform and professional appearance.
  • Respect confidentiality of brand and hotel-specific information; protect company property and the privacy of guests and employees.
  • Welcome and receive guests according to company standards, anticipating and responding to their needs, and assisting disabled persons.
  • Use clear and courteous language in all communications, preparing and correcting written documents accurately.
  • Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers, collaborating to achieve common goals.
  • Comply with quality requirements and standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Night Auditor position should possess foundational experience in a related field, demonstrating a capacity for accuracy and responsibility in financial operations.

  • 0-1 year of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements and General Duties

The role involves certain physical demands and a willingness to undertake various tasks as needed to support hotel operations.

  • Ability to independently move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing a maximum of kilograms.
