We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Cashier to join our pet store team.The ideal candidate is customer-focused, responsible, and comfortable working in an environment with dogs and other animals. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of animals and enjoys being around them.Responsibilities:

• Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier/front area
• Assist customers with inquiries and basic product guidance
• Support daily store operations as needed

• Previous cashier/retail experience is a plus

• Obtain orders via email and phone, verify and enter items, and manage order fulfillment.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and checking customer buying history.
• Identify opportunities passed from marketing and outside sales.
• Enhance processes for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders and understand lost orders.
• Manage open customer order reports and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback for management.

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales and sales administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Travel requirement: 0% - 25%.
