About the Role
IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join its Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This full-time position is within the Infrastructure Division and focuses on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, specifically those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban settings.
Role Overview
The Contract Administrator will oversee all contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle. This includes ensuring compliance, managing change proposals, and maintaining cost reports. The role requires a proactive approach to supporting the Contract Manager and mitigating potential risks to the client's commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Contract Manager on all contractual matters, including contract compliance, change management, cost reporting, and claim mitigation strategies.
- Review incoming correspondence to assess and manage any commercial impact.
- Identify and assess potential contractual issues.
- Ensure that all necessary bonds, warranties, insurances, and undertakings are in the commercial interest of the Client and in accordance with the contracts.
- Assist the Contract Manager in meetings with clients, third parties, and contractors regarding procurement, contracts, and claims.
- Administer Consultant and Contractor claims.
- Support the drafting of contractual communications.
- Assist with the application and payment process to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes.
- Coordinate with other discipline managers to provide direction to consultant staff and foster collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Formal qualifications or affiliations with RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB.
- Over 12 years of applicable experience in project management, primarily as a Consultant on mega construction projects. Experience exclusively with contractors will not be considered.
- Understanding of construction, design, and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Additional Requirements
- Must be based in Riyadh.
- Transferable Iqama required for non-Saudi candidates.
- Valid SCE membership.
