About the Role

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in Riyadh, is a new national airline focused on transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub. As a digitally native airline, RX aims to connect the Kingdom to over 100 destinations. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Airport Manager to oversee RX’s airport operations at our Western Europe outstations. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is based in Riyadh Region.

Role Overview

This role is accountable for managing ground handling operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing guest experience, and maintaining stakeholder relations to support operational excellence and the airline's business objectives. It demands hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight to ensure seamless day-to-day performance, upholding safety, service quality, and operational excellence across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day airport operations, including passenger services, ramp, check-in, baggage, lounge, and ticketing, ensuring they are conducted safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
• Represent Riyadh Air at Airport Operations Committee (AOC) meetings, airport committees, and regulatory forums, liaising effectively with customs, immigration, airport operators, and other key authorities.
• Lead and develop the airport team, including frontline leaders and customer service staff, focusing on high performance, motivation, grooming standards, and adherence to operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage daily operations by leading teams, liaising with partners, and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Airport or Ground Operations.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience at Tier 1 or 2 global airports.
• Proven track record in managing airport operations, encompassing passenger services, ramp operations, baggage handling, and load control.
• Station start-up or launch experience is considered a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves direct oversight of airport operations in Western Europe outstations, requiring a dynamic and hands-on leadership approach within a fast-paced airport environment.
