About the Role

The United Company for Industrial Development and Contracting Ltd. is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience in architectural drafting and design support.

Core Responsibilities

The Architectural Drafter will be responsible for a range of tasks focused on the creation and management of architectural plans. This includes reviewing initial drafts and designs, preparing detailed architectural and executive drawings, and ensuring all documentation is accurately classified and stored.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Review architectural and structural plan drafts and designs for accuracy and completeness.
• Manually draft and edit architectural plans using traditional drafting tools.
• Produce architectural and structural plans utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Print final plans at the required scale using specified software.
• Classify, document, and save engineering plans according to established procedures.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Receive architectural and structural drawing drafts and discuss them with the relevant engineer for clear interpretation.
• Prepare architectural designs and executive drawings based on project requirements.
• Draft architectural, structural, and executive plans manually using drawing tools and tables.
• Develop architectural and structural engineering plans and executive drawings using computer software.
• Review drafted drawings and submit them to the architect for approval.
• Prepare final drawings that adhere strictly to the architect's instructions and specifications.
• Print plans using computer software, ensuring accuracy in scale and presentation.
• Classify, index, document, arrange, and save architectural plans systematically.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting. Proficiency in using computer software for drafting architectural and structural plans is essential. The ability to interpret architectural and structural plan drafts and designs is a key requirement for this role.
