We are seeking an Assistant Health Club Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Health Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spa and Wellness facility within the Health Club Department in Riyadh. This role ensures the delivery of a high level of service and manages all operational aspects to maintain the facility's standards and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures to colleagues.
  • Ensure all business activities and decisions comply with the MOHG Code of Conduct, general law, rules, regulations, and other requirements.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Spa & Wellness, including guest and colleague interactions.
  • Strategically plan rosters for Spa Concierge and attendants based on operational needs.
  • Conduct daily briefings with the concierge and attendant team.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Spa Operations Manager.
  • Organize training for Spa Concierge and Spa Attendants.
  • Assist Concierge and therapists with Spa Soft questions and obstacles.
  • Ensure all spa charging procedures are followed and initiate accounting procedures.
  • Monitor guest charges and reconciliation processes.
  • Efficiently handle all discounted marketing charges for treatments, products, and e-mails.

The Assistant Health Club Manager is expected to actively contribute to the hotel's environmental and sustainability goals, which include:

  • Implementing eco-friendly practices and educating guests and colleagues on sustainable initiatives.
  • Continuously seeking ways to minimize the hotel's environmental footprint.
  • Possessing knowledge of waste sorting and recycling procedures.
  • Supporting energy and water conservation efforts.
  • Championing sustainability initiatives across the department.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5-10 years of experience in health club, spa, or wellness operations, ideally within a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires strong operational management skills and a commitment to service excellence.

This role is based within the Health Club Department at Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates in a dynamic luxury hotel setting.
