The Role of Assistant Lounge Manager

Boutique Group is seeking a Full-time Assistant Lounge Manager for The Red Palace in Riyadh. This role is central to overseeing the daily operations of the Cigar Lounge, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high standards of service, and driving revenue performance. The Assistant Lounge Manager combines leadership, operational management, and guest engagement, while actively promoting and embodying the Company’s legacy competencies and values within this luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor all team members, setting performance standards and conducting regular reviews.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused culture within the lounge team.
• Assist in developing and implementing creative, high-quality mocktail and beverage menus aligned with the hotel's positioning and guest preferences.
• Train and supervise bar staff to deliver outstanding service and comprehensive beverage knowledge.
• Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and prompt handling of feedback, complaints, and requests.
• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, procurement, and cost control.
• Ensure proper setup, presentation, and maintenance of the Lounge, adhering to hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
• Monitor revenue, labor costs, and expenses to ensure profitability, implementing strategies to increase sales through upselling and promotions.
• Plan and execute special events, VIP services, and seasonal promotions, collaborating with other hotel departments for seamless execution.
• Identify skill gaps and organize ongoing training programs to coach staff in service standards and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, F&B standards, and local regulations, regularly inspecting lounge areas for quality and safety.
• Provide recommendations for improving guest experience and operational performance, analyzing trends and competitor offerings.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in F&B management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, standards, and service excellence.
• Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational processes effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a guest-centric mindset.
