About the Role

This full-time position for an Assistant Manager - Engineering and Development Business Solutions is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role focuses on the technical deployment, support, and troubleshooting of ArcGIS Enterprise, requiring close collaboration with IT and development teams to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of the organization's GIS infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ArcGIS Enterprise suite, including Portal, Server, Data Store, and Web Adaptor, to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role involves proactively troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to publishing, services, Single Sign-On (SSO), certificates, networking, and overall system performance. Collaboration with IT professionals is key for managing server configurations, networks, firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and cloud infrastructure, while also ensuring robust system security protocols are in place.

Supporting GIS Applications and Users

This position will support various basic GIS application development workflows, including the utilization of REST APIs, web maps, custom applications, and integrations. A significant part of the role involves managing user support tickets efficiently, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and overseeing operational monitoring to guarantee a smooth and effective user experience across the GIS platform.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or GIS.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture.
• A good understanding of Windows Server, networking principles, and API basics.
• The ability to troubleshoot technical issues across GIS, IT, and application layers.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
