About the Role

The Saudi Investment Bank is seeking an Assistant Manager of Financial Restructuring to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position supports the bank's initiatives to provide structured financial restructuring solutions for clients and companies facing financial distress. The role is integral to managing troubled loan relationships and achieving effective credit risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of financial restructuring solutions for distressed clients and companies.
  • Adhere to the defined structure, systems, protocols, and methodologies for managing stressed and distressed loans.
  • Document troubled loan relationships and other assigned cases to identify complex situations requiring escalation for effective management in line with credit risk management objectives.
  • Execute necessary actions for the recovery and subsequent sale of assets held as collateral for loans in default or foreclosure.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in asset management and financial restructuring, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely periodic management and progress reports for leadership and the Credit Committee to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Understand and follow clearly articulated guidance to complete assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with sub-functional goals.
  • Utilize allocated resources efficiently to complete tasks according to defined standards and within process boundaries.
  • Comply with established policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of work.
  • Independently address simple, recurring issues and escalate complex challenges to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in routine activities.
  • Actively participate in pre-defined development initiatives, leveraging organizational resources to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related major.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for 3-5 years.
