Assistant Systems Engineer

About the Role

Sundry IT Solutions is seeking an Assistant Systems Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing onsite IT support, managing endpoints, and assisting with Microsoft cloud technologies and general IT infrastructure. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Assistant Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's IT systems, ensuring smooth operations and providing essential technical assistance to end-users. This includes managing various aspects of IT infrastructure, from device management to server support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Windows devices, including application deployment and patching processes.
• Support Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance policy enforcement.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and authentication within Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide support for Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy configurations.
• Monitor system backups and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Offer L1/L2 support for end-users, hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and manage support tickets effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in a systems engineering or IT support role.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows device management and application deployment.
• Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Ability to troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues and manage backups.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring onsite presence to provide direct IT support and manage systems effectively. The role involves working within a dynamic IT environment, supporting various technologies and end-users.
