Role Summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director / Director Project Controls to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of the Project Controls Function across all work packages and major contracts within assigned projects. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of critical project control elements, ensuring robust oversight and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a recognized regional expert in project controls, both internally and externally.
  • Provide regional technical leadership and support for new pursuits and bids.
  • Manage and deliver the regional Project Controls team budget, ensuring business performance.
  • Lead and develop team members, including engagement, professional growth, and effective deployment.
  • Drive the continuing growth of the team, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Lead and assure service excellence in all project controls activities.
  • Ensure compliance with our Business Management Systems, covering contract management, risk, health, safety and wellbeing, delivery, and finance.
  • Lead Health, Safety & Wellbeing activities for the respective Cost Centre.
  • Oversee contract execution and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Maintain a visible regional market presence for Turner & Townsend.
  • Secure regional bids and opportunities for the Cost Centre.
  • Manage resourcing and capability building initiatives to meet regional needs.
  • Lead the delivery of Cost Management, Planning / Scheduling, Change, Reporting, Risk, and Information Management for work packages.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in project controls, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and technical expertise in the field. A proven track record in managing complex project control functions and leading diverse teams is essential for this role.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Middle Oraija Dist, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to manage regional operations and teams effectively.
