About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking an Associate Director - Logistics Centers to oversee operations for its specialized supply chain and logistics subsidiary, Red Sea Coastal Trading Company. This role is based in Riyadh and involves managing logistics for pioneering regenerative tourism developments across Saudi Arabia.

Role Context

Red Sea Coastal Trading Company provides end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement support, transportation coordination, inventory and warehouse management, and last-mile logistics to remote destinations. The Associate Director will be instrumental in designing, planning, coordinating, and managing all Logistics Centre operations to ensure seamless delivery of materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and development of Red Sea Global (RSG) Logistics Facilities.
  • Oversee the operational implementation of new facilities.
  • Ensure all logistics facility functions strictly adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
  • Lead the setting of Scope of Work, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for logistics outsourcing.
  • Monitor and manage logistics service providers to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), key metrics, distribution center space, and inventory movements.
  • Ensure all transactions are strictly documented and updated in IT systems.
  • Ensure Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards are established, communicated, and adhered to across all facilities.
  • Establish performance measures and priorities for each facility and operation.
  • Conduct regular inspection visits to evaluate facility performance efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor the market environment to identify and implement opportunities for increasing the responsiveness and efficiency of facilities and operations.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training to develop technical and HSE skills.
  • Prepare periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) regarding facilities, operations, activities, and inventory.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
