About the Role

Mace is seeking an Associate Director Project Controls Rail to support the expansion of its rail capabilities across the Middle East. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on shaping and delivering ambitious transport programs. The role involves providing leadership and expertise in project controls for major rail and infrastructure projects.

Role Context and Objectives

This position is accountable for the overall performance and delivery of PMO and Project Controls services across assigned commissions. The Associate Director will play a key role in establishing and growing Mace's rail presence in a region experiencing significant investment in integrated transport. The objective is to contribute to the development of world-class infrastructure by managing complex programs with high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust PMO and Project Controls frameworks, strategies, and governance structures.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all Project Controls matters.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, building strong client relationships and influencing decision-making.
• Lead the management of cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting processes to ensure project objectives are met.
• Establish, monitor, and control project baselines, including scope, time, cost, and risk, alongside quantitative risk analysis and performance tracking.
• Direct structured reporting, governance forums, and performance reviews, ensuring compliance with procedures, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, support resourcing and recruitment, and promote innovation, best practice, and sustainability objectives.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates should possess proven experience in major rail or infrastructure programs. The ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced delivery environments is essential.
