About the Associate Product Manager Role

PetroApp is seeking a motivated and curious Associate Product Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of digital products that enhance customer experiences. You will work collaboratively with experienced professionals to support the entire product development lifecycle, from identifying user needs to launching impactful features.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will support Product Managers in defining, planning, and delivering product features and enhancements. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting business and user requirements through research, data analysis, and stakeholder discussions. You will assist in creating product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation. Collaboration with designers and engineers throughout the product development process is key, as is participation in product discovery activities such as user research, competitor analysis, and market research. You will help prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs and business objectives, and monitor product performance using data and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product initiatives is also expected. Staying informed about industry trends, customer behavior, and emerging technologies, including AI, will support product innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or a related role. Internships are considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity, research, and documentation.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • A foundational understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • The capacity to organize tasks, manage priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with data to inform product decisions.
  • A passion for building customer-centric digital products.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Internship or project experience in product management or digital products.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Miro.
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience working with mobile or web applications.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Experience in fintech, mobility, fuel, energy, or marketplace products is beneficial.
