Role Summary

Aventus Global Talent is seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is offered as a 12-month on-site contract, playing a critical role in a large-scale cloud transformation project. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on AWS cloud environments.

Project Context

This role is part of a strategic initiative to drive cloud adoption and transformation across the organization. The project involves recruiting three dedicated Solution Architects, each specializing in a key cloud provider: AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. The AWS Solution Architect will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions within the Amazon Web Services ecosystem as part of this broader multi-cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cloud migration activities to ensure successful delivery and alignment with project objectives.
• Participate in the Design Authority to review and approve architecture decisions, designs, and technical standards.
• Review project deliverables to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with architecture and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to address technical challenges and risks.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices throughout the migration and transformation lifecycle.
• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's EA principles and roadmap.
• Support technical governance, design reviews, and decision-making processes across cloud projects.

Candidate Profile

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong background in AWS cloud services and architecture. Given the collaborative nature of the project and local stakeholder engagement, a preference will be given to applicants who are proficient in Arabic.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site contract role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an initial duration of 12 months. The successful candidate will work directly with project teams and stakeholders within the client's premises.
