Bartender

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Bartender to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves preparing and serving drinks to guests, maintaining bar operations, and ensuring a high standard of service. The role requires 0-1 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles as required.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and ensure adequate stock of ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for bar supplies.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure the bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete all designated closing duties for the bar area.

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None specified.
